I decided I'd make it a practice to do a holiday image for dear friends and family last year with Angel of Noel and now I'm happy to present this year's holiday card (to be colored).

Alphonse Mucha, the master of art nouveau, proved a strong influence on this piece. I could think of nothing more simplistic and beautiful to portray. Many thanks go to Zephyri for the birthday present of a Mucha book. It's provided me with so much inspiration and direction.

The finished colored version will be coming soon, but I wanted to share the line art solely for folks like my good friend kdeln who enjoy black and white in all their elegant glory.

I also put this for Download for those of you who want to color it. Merry Christmas I'll be putting prints of this up for auction along with last year's Christmas pic as well with part of their proceeds going to help a charity so keep a look out on my journal for links to that.
